Sephora Haul & First Impressions

Hey beauties!

I have officially declared myself as a shopping addict after I saw my new status at Sephora, thats right, your girl made it to ROUGE STATUS. I don’t know if I should be proud or if I should start looking for makeup addict support groups. It seems every time its pay day I find myself on the Sephora app filling up my cart with a fuck it attitude, the end result always being a parcel at my door. So lets go ahead and jump into what I got and what my initial first thoughts were!

Product 1. Urban Decay Meltdown Makeup Remover

I love my Micellar Water Makeup Remover but I saw my girl Kalyn Nicholson use this stick makeup remover, and because she had it I had to have it. Let me tell you, this BLOWS my Micellar out of the Water! It starts out in a solid form that has a very nice fruity sent, you rub it all over your face and it turns into a nice relaxing oil, then adding water you work it into a foam and then rinse. This is absolutely perfect for travelling as its a solid and I always have a problem with liquids opening in my bags and spilling, plus if your going through airport security you can take it as a carry on. This leaves no trace of makeup on my face, even my mascara, and leaves my skin feeling super soft and clean. Im obsessed, thanks Kalyn! (This retails for $32 CAD)

Product 2. Kat Von D Tattoo Eyeliner – Trooper

This is a repurchase for me because its just that good. When I first bought it I didn’t really like it all that much, I found it hard to maneuver to do my typical wing. But after getting use to it I fell in love it, with how black it was and how long it stayed put. I literally can wear this all day, party all night, sleep with it on and wear it the next day! (This retails for $25 CAD)

Product 3. GlamGlow PoutMud Wet Lip Balm – Birthday Suit

It was so hard to take a picture of this without getting myself in the reflection. I think this lip balm is the coolest thing ever, the mirrored ball packaging is so futuristic. When I bought this I read really good reviews about all the colour options but Im a nude kinda girl, and the thought of a wet balm seemed interesting to me. I did not what to expect when I opened it and tested out the texture, I was pleasantly surprised. It feels like it says in the title, wet. The colour is more sheer then it looks in the pot and it feels lightweight and glossy on the lips. (This retails for $24 CAD)

Product 4. Sol de Janeiro Brazilian Bum Bum Cream

The smell. I am obsessed with the smell of this cream. I have always heard YouTubers talk about this product but I always thought it was just a generic coconut smelling cream, but they were always raving about it. I have cellulite in my thighs and stomach so I though I’d try out this little miracle. It feels so thick and creamy and just so luxurious. I will be purchasing the spray my next time around Sephora. (This retails for $25 CAD for the smaller pot)

Product 5. Tarte Maracuja Oil

I have a huge problem buying new skin care items, Im always buying something new to help the various problems my skin encounters and I always have high hopes they will work right away. I have no idea how to use this specifially but I love anything Tarte creates and this bottle it just too cute. It has a little dropper so its easy to get without getting too much or getting it everywhere. I like putting 2-3 drops on my skin before anything else goes on my face, but I have also heard that mixing it with your foundation or concealer works wonders as well. It does not leave my skin greasy, has no weird smell, and its just really fun to use. (This little bottle retails for $19 CAD)

Product 6. Urban Decay B6 Vitamin Infused Prepping Spray

I love Urban Decay, their products and packaging never disappoint, and me being obsessed with their All Nighter Spray and with skin care in general I thought I’d give this a whirl. I love spraying this, especially after it being in the fridge so its cool and refreshing, right in the morning and instantly feel less puffy. (This retails for $39 CAD)

Product 7. Sephora Outrageous Effect Volume Lip Gloss – XXL Nude

Like I said, Im a nude girl and I love anything with a shine and can give my little lips some life. Kathleen Lights had this in one of her favourites videos and I had to have it. It gives you a little tingle without the burn like most lip plumper, the colour is gorgeous and the packaging is adorable. Way to go Sephora! (This retails for $15 CAD)

Product 8. Tatcha Violet C Radiance Mask

This little beauty was an online offer I had to grab! Tatcha has been all over the YouTube world and I was so excited to see a deluxe sample of the Violet C Mask I could try without spending an arm and a leg. The colour of the mask is what hooked me when I first opened it, its the most gorgeous violet colour so I had to include that in the picture for you to see for yourself!

So there you have it! Eight products that I recently got from Sephora and I think its clear that I don’t have a favourite as all these are amazing! Although if I HAD to choose….. The Brazilian Bum Bum cream would win.

Let me know if you have tried any of these products or what ones would want to try! xo
