Going Cruelty Free

I honestly don’t know why I haven’t done this sooner. I recently went through all of my makeup and took out all the products from brands that are not cruelty free. I have always cared for animals so why wouldn’t I consider them when buying makeup?? All those poor sweet fur babies…

SO, I have made it my mission to only support brands that I put on my face that are cruelty free. I am also making my way towards hair and body products as well. After seeing a few YouTubers switching over to cruelty free makeup (CosmoByHaley and Kalyn Nicholson) it struck a cord with me.

I went through each product before I moved to make it easier, and before I bought all of Sephora. Below I have pictures of what products I am keeping and the ones I gave away or threw out. I you have not made the change I highly suggest it. I was a bit weary at first because of the initial thought of not there not being brands I like being cruelty free. BUT theres actually A LOT of brands that are AMAZING and CRUELTY FREE. Not your typical Maybelline or L’areal (get with the times already) but brands like NYX, Colour Pop, Wet n’ Wild, Fenty… Most of Sephora you can actually get cruelty free, drugstore not so much but theres still so many options out there.

I hope this post can help all your beauties out there get on the band wagon and help save our animal friends!

    1. Sadly I should have done more research on this company, I thought that the parent company of NARS was the only one that tested on animals, but I as wrong. Thank you for brining this to my attention! xo
